Assoc. Prof. Tuğçe Uzun Kocamış graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration. She completed her master’s in accounting-auditing at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences and her PhD in accounting and finance at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences. She worked as a finance specialist, internal audit specialist, financial affairs manager and internal audit manager in the private sector for many years. She started her academic career as a lecturer at Istanbul University School of Social Sciences, accounting and tax applications program in 2012 and became an associate professor in 2020. During her academic career, she has published many international and national articles on topics such as auditing, cost accounting, accounting standards, financial statement analysis, sustainability reporting. Currently, she is a faculty member at İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Accounting and Taxation.
